HashKey, the first crypto exchange licensed in Hong Kong, is suspending transactions made from Binance-linked wallets.

On April 14th, HashKey, based in Hong Kong, announced a change that will closely impact Binance users. The company stated that it will not allow transactions for deposits and withdrawals made through Binance, effective from May 10, 2024.

Previously, HashKey had mentioned that as a third-party exchange, it would only accept deposits and withdrawals from Binance.

The reason for this decision was not clearly stated in the announcement, with details only pointing to “a change in our policy”:

Due to a change in our policy, from May 10, 2024, HashKey Exchange will not allow any cryptocurrency deposits from wallet addresses hosted by Binance.
