The world’s largest stablecoin issuer, Tether, brought USDT support to the TON network.
USDT issuer Tether has integrated with the Telegram-supported Toncoin’s TON blockchain. According to information from Tether’s official page, the integration process has been completed and users can now send-receive USDT and perform all other eligible operations on the TON network.
Tether initially injected 10 billion USDT into the TON network. Another 7 billion USDT awaits authorization.
According to CoinGecko data, the TON price, which has been positively affected by the news, has experienced a 5% increase in the last 4 hours, climbing from $6.91 to $7.22.
TON, which has been on a positive upward trend for a long time, gained new momentum thanks to Telegram’s integration into advertising payments.
