BytePlus, affiliated with ByteDance, the developer of the TikTok app, is stepping into the blockchain world with Sui.
According to a statement from Sui Foundation, BytePlus has chosen the Sui blockchain for the services it will offer in the gaming and social app areas.
BytePlus provides various services such as content distribution network, personalized solutions, and user interaction tools.
Among the services offered by the company are BytePlus Recommend, which enables the development of personalized applications, and BytePlus Effects, which hosts 80,000 effects ready for video applications.
The Sui Foundation stated, “When combined with Sui’s unique NFT technology, this service can empower groundbreaking new social applications.”
After the announcement, the SUI price quickly surged from $1.17 to $1.26.
