HashKey, the first crypto exchange licensed in Hong Kong, is suspending transactions made from Binance-linked wallets.

HashKey announced a statement of significant interest to Binance users as of April 19. Hong Kong-based HashKey has announced that it will not allow withdrawal and deposit transactions from the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance. Restrictions will come into effect from May 10, 2024.

In its recent statement, HashKey had indicated that it would only accept withdrawal and deposit transactions from Binance as a third-party exchange with incentives.

The announcement does not provide a clear explanation of why such a decision was made, but the details of the announcement include the phrase “a change in our policy”:

Due to a change in our policy, beginning on May 10, 2024, HashKey Exchange will not allow any crypto deposit from wallet addresses hosted by Binance.
