To prevent congestion and delays on the Solana (SOL) network, a new update has been released.

The Solana network, which has become the epicenter of the recent meme coin frenzy and has been struggling with congestion, has breathed with a new update.

The recently deployed Solana 1.17.31 version by the development team has become active. In the statement made by the developers, it was mentioned that the new version can be used by MainnetBeta validators:

The 1.17.31 version is now recommended for general use by MainnetBeta validators. This version includes improvements to help alleviate the ongoing congestion on the Solana network.

With the new update, the congestion within the network has begun to decrease. The main reasons for the congestion included increased bot usage. Last week, the transaction failure rate on the Solana network had risen to 76.8%, a significant level.
