The first crypto exchange licensed in Hong Kong, HashKey, is suspending transactions made from Binance-affiliated wallets.

On April 19, Hong Kong-based HashKey shared a statement that concerns Binance users. HashKey announced that it won’t allow deposits and withdrawals made from the world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance. Restrictions will take effect starting on May 10, 2024.

In a previous announcement, HashKey stated it would only accept deposits and withdrawals from Binance as a third-party exchange, giving the exchange a privilege.

Specifying the reason behind this decision was not included in the announcement, but the details mention a change in our policy:

Due to a change in our policy, HashKey Exchange will not permit any crypto deposits from wallet addresses hosted by Binance, starting from May 10, 2024.
