Decentralized crypto protocol Drift, based on Solana, will release its own token DRIFT by organizing an airdrop.
Drift, where users can trade perpetual futures contracts, will have a total supply of 1 billion tokens.
According to Drift, a 10% portion equivalent to 100 million tokens will be distributed through airdrop. Approximately 180,000 users will be able to participate in the airdrop based on their transactions on Drift.
The creation date of DRIFT token and the date when users can participate in the airdrop will be announced at a later date.
Drift, one of the first DeFi projects based on Solana and launched in 2021, has recorded a total trading volume of more than 20 billion dollars to date.
