Former Goldman Sachs executive reveals his cryptocurrency investments.
Former Goldman Sachs executive Raoul Pal revealed on the Bankless YouTube channel that he has made substantial investments in Solana (SOL), considered a competitor to Ethereum.
Raoul Pal highlighted that Solana makes up 80% of his cryptocurrency portfolio, with the remaining 1% consisting of meme coins such as WIF, BONK, and DOGE. He also mentioned that all of his Ethereum assets are now in the form of NFTs:
“I’m 80% in SOL. All of my Ethereums are now NFTs.”
In response to the question of why he made such a large investment in Solana, he pointed to the “Solana/Ethereum” chart:
“The standout chart of 2022 was the Solana/Ethereum chart. That was the chart that made me buy Solana and then put everything into it. Just like I did with Ethereum around September 2020. I did this before with Solana.”
