An early Ethereum investor has finally taken action and deposited $3.5 million worth of ETH to Kraken.
On-chain data analysis firm Spot On Chain shared transfers related to a sale made by the pre-sale investor who bought Ethereum at $0.31.
The whale in question moved 1,069 ETH worth $3.56 million to the crypto exchange Kraken at an average of $3,329. The investor had purchased 12,556 ETH in July 2015 at a cost of $0.31. In 2017, the investor moved their ETH to 12 different wallets, transferring 4,846 ETH to Kraken and Gemini at levels around $1,637.
The whale currently holds 7,719 Ethereum across 8 wallets, valued at $25.7 million. According to CoinGecko, Ethereum’s price has risen by 1.8% in the last 24 hours, trading at $3,322 at the time of writing.
