Affected by the bankruptcy crisis and experiencing serious financial losses, Celsius returned for Ethereum sales.
According to data provided by the on-chain analysis platform Spot On Chain, Celsius took action to sell Ethereum on April 17th.
The data revealed that the Celsius connected wallet sold 8,091 Ethereum worth $24.5 million at $3,022.
This sale went down in the records as the largest Ethereum sale made by the company in the last 3 months. Celsius made a total of 847,626 ETH worth $1.9 billion from November 13th to January 31st.
The sales are being made to repay creditors waiting for billions of dollars. After filing for bankruptcy in July 2022, Celsius announced that it would focus on Bitcoin mining following the approval of the company’s restructuring plan by a U.S. court.
