Crypto whales have been continuously making purchases in an altcoin for the past 2 days.
According to the on-chain data and analytics account Lookonchain’s share on March 9, crypto whales are making serious purchases in Chainlink (LINK).
The share stated that 8 newly opened wallets made purchases of LINK from Binance, with a total of 831,160 LINK worth $16.72 million.
It was noticed that all of the wallet accounts made their purchases exclusively from Binance.
According to CoinGecko data, LINK has only seen a 10% increase in the last 30 days, lagging behind many other cryptocurrencies. It is thought that whales are making purchases in anticipation of a further rise in the LINK price.
Previously, a whale accumulating more than 5.5 million LINK from Binance through 55 different wallets led to an increase in the price.
At the time of writing, LINK is trading at $20.09, rising by 0.8% in the last 24 hours.
