Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are preparing for a billion-dollar maturity at noon today.
On April 5, Greeks Live shared critical option data for Bitcoin and Ethereum. The post indicated that the option with an expiration date of April 5 for 18,000 BTC is about to expire with a nominal value of $1.2 billion. These options have a 0.64 Put Call (buy-to-sell) ratio and are also highlighted to have a maximum level of $68,000.
Furthermore, it was pointed out that the 270,000 ETH option with an expiration date of April 5 is about to expire with a nominal value of $890 million. These Ethereum options have a 0.38 Put Call (sell-to-buy) ratio, and the maximum pain level is indicated at $3,400.
Major investors may try to pull the price to the max pain point in order to ensure maximum loss for option buyers and maximum gain for sellers against small investors.
