The privacy-focused project supported by Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin has responded to the allegations involving North Korea.
Railgun (RAIL), both invested in and publicly supported by Vitalik Buterin, responded to the allegations involving North Korea. The team clarified that there is no clear evidence that Railgun is being used by North Korean cybercriminals and dismissed all such claims as speculation.
Some parts of the crypto market had recently targeted Railgun with defamation campaigns, calling it a platform where North Korean hackers roam free.
The team’s detailed statement included the following:
‘There is no evidence to suggest that individuals or governments under sanction, such as North Korea, are using Railgun, and all such suggestions are based on speculation.’
