A whale that participated in the Ethereum initial coin offering (ICO) became active again after 8.7 years by transferring 2,000 ETH.
According to the on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain, on March 24, it was revealed that a whale who bought 2,000 ETH during the Ethereum ICO transferred all of his assets in his wallet to another cryptocurrency wallet after 8.7 years.
According to the data, on March 24, the whale moved 2,000 ETH worth $6.7 million to a new wallet. Then, he transferred 25 ETH to the cryptocurrency exchange ChangeNow.
The whale bought all of these assets at an average of 0.31 dollars during the Ethereum ICO. Considering that the whale invested at a cost of 0.31 dollars per ETH in 2015, the Ethereum is currently at an average profit of 11,129 times at the current price of $3,450.
