An owner of a Twitter account made a move for the meme coin hype on the Solana (SOL) network and raised 10 million dollars in 4 hours.
The owner of a Twitter account named KeroNFTs, claiming to be named Kerim, used the interest in meme coins that have become quite popular on the Solana network. KeroNFTs announced that he would release a meme coin after many people became rich from Book of Meme (BOME), which reached a billion-dollar market value in two days and was listed on Binance.
Similar to BOME, it was claimed that over 10 million dollars were sent through the fundraising method, where the wallet address was shared and pre-sales were conducted within 4 hours.
Although the mentioned method received a lot of criticism, approximately 55,000 SOL were sent to the wallet in a short time. KeroNFTs later stated that the fundraising should now come to an end and the pre-sale has been completed, but according to on-chain data, money is still being transferred.
The account, later mentioned that the meme coin would not be released before midnight on Sunday and also emphasized that there are many fraudulent accounts beneath the posts and to be cautious. It is stated that the name of the meme coin will be SNAP.
The method’s pioneer, Book of Meme, achieved great success by being listed on Binance.
