Google has made an eye-catching integration for Ethereum (ETH) based Web3 domain name service Ethereum Name Service (ENS).
Google started showing information related to ENS addresses and wallet balances associated with that address in search results. It was observed that Google pulls the data from etherscan.
Such integration had not been made in the past, and this development has excited ENS investors. ENS, supported by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, emerged to bring the service that Google domain names provided to the Web3 space. Users can send cryptocurrencies to each other using “.eth” domain names instead of “.com” domain names.
Brantly Millegan, a member of the ENS development team, expressed his surprise after the integration in a post:
Wow! Google has integrated ENS into search engines! Also, remember, Google integrated ENS before some decentralized applications (dApp)!
