Former U.S. President Donald Trump propelled Bitcoin (BTC) to an all-time high with his announcement.
Donald Trump, who continues his efforts for the 2024 U.S. presidential elections, spoke about Bitcoin. According to a report by CNBC, Donald Trump expressed that Bitcoin is being used more frequently by people and that he is not sure he wants to eliminate it:
Bitcoin has seen significant adoption and usage. I’m not sure we would want to eliminate that.
Trump’s statement, who is seen as the favorite candidate for the upcoming U.S. presidential elections, triggered a sudden price increase in Bitcoin. According to CoinGecko data, the price of Bitcoin reached $72,200, the highest level of all time, parallel to the announcement.
In recent years, Donald Trump, who said that Bitcoin was nothing but a scam, had come to the fore by changing his attitude.
Trump, who recently participated in an open session on Fox News, answered a question about Bitcoin by saying “adoption and interest are increasing, I think I can live with it.”
