Fan token project Chiliz (CHZ) announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with game studio Unagi and the French Professional Football League to launch a game called Coach.
In an official statement today, Chiliz announced the Coach fantasy football game. Asserting that the groundbreaking game involves a strategic partnership with Unagi and the French Ligue 1, Chiliz stated that Coach is the first game developed by a football league.
According to the announcement, Coach Ligue 1, allows for the creation of top teams with digital cards minted on the Chiliz Chain for the French first and second leagues. The game also offers a competitive experience for fans to acquire new player packs and build their teams.
The cards will have 5 rarity levels and players will have the opportunity to qualify for increasingly prestigious tournaments.
Alex Dreyfus, CEO of Chiliz, stated that this game is the first phase of partnerships with other leagues worldwide.
According to CoinGecko data, the CHZ price started rising after the announcement. CHZ reached $0.141 with a 5% increase from the $0.134 levels. The price has since retraced slightly and is currently trading at $0.138.
