The founder of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), has announced his new project.
On March 19, Changpeng Zhao announced his new project in a social media post, introducing a project called “Giggle Academy” aiming to provide free education to children with limited resources. CZ also provided preliminary details about the project.
While emphasizing that this project will not mint a token or seek profit from the start, he highlighted that this gamified and implementable education project will target grades 1 through 12.
Additionally, he mentioned that he is hiring for this project and the small team established for it will have the chance to work directly with him.
CZ’s launch of a new education-focused project triggered a positive price movement for the Binance-backed education project Open Campus (EDU). Following the founder’s announcement, EDU experienced a 32% surge in a short period, regaining most of its gains despite the negative market sentiment.
