Bitwise analyst predicted that Ethereum (ETH) could rise above $10,000 this year.
Asset manager Bitwise’s crypto research analyst Juan Leon drew attention with his recent Ethereum prediction. The analyst, who pointed out that while Bitcoin managed to reach an all-time high, Ethereum lagged behind, said that Ethereum’s price could climb above $10,000 this year.
Ethereum’s rise is marked by the London upgrade in mid-March and the potential approval of a spot Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF) in May:
Bitcoin has attracted all the attention with the release of Bitcoin ETFs, but Ethereum has at least two major catalysts that will shift focus to itself. One is the London upgrade, and the other is the expectations for the spot Ethereum ETF. Most of the positive sentiments will materialize weeks and months after the upgrade takes effect. ETH could rise above $10,000 this year, perhaps even higher.
In November 2021, Ethereum reached an all-time high of $4,878. It is currently trading at $3,930.
