Game-oriented layer-1 blockchain Worldwide Asset Exchange (WAX) announced a deal with Amazon.
WAX announced on March 27th that it has signed a deal to use Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and integrate its network with Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) service.
The announcement stated that this integration is critical for Web3 and decentralized application (dapps) developments. WAX, aiming to increase the number of nodes on its networks through the AWS and AMB infrastructure, will transform into a more decentralized and reliable blockchain.
WAX CTO Lukas Sliwka commented on the matter, emphasizing the mass importance of this step:
The new partnership between WAX and Amazon Web Services is an important next step on our journey to the mass adoption of Web3.
According to CoinGecko data, WAX, which saw a 28% increase as a result of the news, climbed from $0.100 to $0.127.
